Real Talk

If there's ever a question you wanted to ask me...now is the time. If you know me personally, you know I'm a person that gets a kick out of this kinda thing. If you don't know me, here's your chance to peek inside my mind. You know what, scratch that idea. I'm going to allow THREE questions per person. But I warn all those who dare to participate. I will be brutally honest. You've been warned. On another note, I'll be constructing the next part of the thing I've been writing. I've taken all the constructive criticism that has been given to me, and I will apply all of it. But yeah, get cracking on those questions. I'll holla.

Hell yeah! Aiight. I'm not going to be too ignorant with my questions, because we all know I could be. Here goes:

1) What's your favorite word in the English language?

2) What REALLY does DPP stand for (and don't give me that 'it means family or it's a way of life' crap)?

3) What sound do you hate?

Figures you'd be first since you don't do nothing at work but steal money!! Aight here are your answers:
1) "Bitch"...not in a negative meaning. Like you know when you end a sentence and you feel it needs something else, you add "bitch". Example...you're playing spades. You need that last book to seal the deal. You pull out that sorry ass jack of spades that no one ever counts. Realizing it will seal victory, you slam the card down and yell, "Game's over bitch!" Feel me?

2) D.P.P. means Different People's Perspective. You may view how a person carries his or herself as a certain way, but someone else may not. That's how we identify ourselves. You may see me as the best thing since Miracle Whip, but someone else could see me as a piece of trash. Neither of you are wrong. It's just your perspective.

3) I hate the sound fingernails scraping across the chalkboard...UGH!!

1. How are we really related? I know that your mom is my aunt's cousin but I'm not really sure after that...

2. Did you ever like Janiqua? cause if you did I'm gonna whoop your ass!

3. When's the next time DPP will all be back in Roselle at the same time? I miss you guys!

I realize the rare opportunity I/we am/are being given here, but I had a hard time narrowing it down to three. Oh well, hopefully these are good questions.
1. What's your secret fantasy (and I don't mean the one that involves Dream and the Paradise Lounge!)?
2. How can you be so insightful about some peoples' feelings and so oblivious to others'? Or is it just to keep people on their toes?
3. (this is the one I REALLY want to know the answer to) What is the combination to the safe?

Cherry's Kid you're up next...

1) To be honest I really don't know how we're related. I don't know if you know this because I only found out about it a year or two ago, but my mom and Aunt Joyce are really half-sisters. They have the same mother but different fathers. Keep that between you and me. And I guess the rest of the internet now...

2)I kinda did like her for a little while. But that was back in like 9th or 10th grade. She's srictly friend material now.

3)To be honest I don't know when we'll ever be back in Roselle. Everyone has gone their seperate ways. We're spread all across the conutry. But never say never. Cause we'll find a way.

X-Factor...
1)My fantasy...I really don't think I have one. I mean of course there's the superficial sexual one that involves me, Halle Berry, Janet Jackson (Velvet Rope Janet...not the one that one that's messing with Jermaine Dupri) and some whipped cream. But on some real stuff, I want to reach my potential.

2)Despite popular belief, it's not an attempt to confuse the people in my life. It's just that sometimes I can look deeper into what a person is saying. Other times I can't. I'm human. I can't always be Super-Nigga...

3)If you're refering to that episode of "The Boondocks"...it's 67921. Other than that, I don't know what you're talking about.

I wasn't talking about The Boondocks, but OK. Guess we'll go with that.

Ellis!!?? Never knew you were on here...I guess the Internet is a small place.

1)Passionate...because I'd like to think I do everything in life to the fullest extent.

Funny...I think I'm a funny dude.

Confident...if I don't believe in myself who will. Sometimes it gets confused with cockiness, but I'm not that sexy...I'm lying. I'm a sexy guy. LOL. That was that funny coming out of me.

2)It's funny to "hear" you call her Purple. Uh...as far as I know there's nothing up with me and her. She's cool people. Now if there's something she's saying from her end, maybe we should sit down and have us a pow-wow. Ya dig?

3)No Purple isn't nor has she ever been a friend with benefits.

1)If you could influence one person to do what ever you wanted who would it be and what would you make them do?

2)What would change about the person you dislike the most and the person you are most fond of?

3)What assets do you think you possess that will influence the world around you?

Jameil 1922 you're up next...
1)I'm not sure if I'm going to impact the world, and that's what scares me. I want my time alive to have meant something. No one wants to die in vain. I'd like to think it will be through my contributions to the television news industry, but I have a gut feeling it will be something else.

2)When I die I would want people to say that I lived life to the fullest. That I was a good husband, father, son and brother. No one wants to hear about the off the wall shit I did in high school and college. Well maybe a few people...

3)Honestly...nah. I'm not that cold hearted. I mean I'm a cold-blooded dude, but not to the point I don't ever wanna see that person again.

Good questions by the way...

And now for cmill52k

1)I would influence Dave Chappelle to make that next season of Chappelle's Show.
I NEED THAT SEASON THREE BABY!!!

2)I don't dislike anyone so that rules out part one. But as far as someone I'm fond of...I'd make it so that P Pat moved a little closer to me. Miss having her around for that classic witty banter that we have.

3}I think my ability to stay calm during pressure situations. I don't like drama so I don't create it. I try and stay even-keeled. It messes me up sometimes in relationships because the other person thinks I'm not intrested. That's not true, I'm just a chill type of dude. I'm from Jersey. We chill.

I know I'm late as hell!
But I was playin Kunta Kinte for the man:

Do you think there could be a civil rights movement with the way our generation acts?

Would you ever stand in the way of someone's happiness if it meant jeopardizing your own?

Would you let Halle Berry give you da Golden Shower?

As long as you still got your foot and don't answer to the name "Toby", it's all good.

1}Honestly I gotta say no. I say no because in my opinion there's nothing holding back Black people as a whole to unite us. Back then NO ONE could vote. Back then NO ONE could even drink from a water fountain that had a sign that read "Whites Only" hanging over it. In our generation, not all of us a rich, but enough of us have money to the point where we feel there's no need to complain. Not all of us can read, but enough can so there's no need to cause some trouble. Not all of us are properly educated, but enough of us are so that we can sweep that topic under the rug. I'm not saying we should all suffer so that way we can attention in our direction. But look at New Orleans for a minute. It's been messed up down there longer than most of the people reading this have been alive. But I'm gettig away from my original point. I think there willl be no civil rights movement because enough of us ain't united towards working for one thing.

2)It would depend on if I loved that person. If the only way for my brother to afford get into law school was for me to sell one of my prized possesions I'd do it in a heartbeat. But if it's some random person I've just met, then they can fall back.

3)Yes I would. And that's all I have to say about that.
