When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong

The title of this blog refers to a skit on Chappelle's Show. Not the bastardized version that's currently on Comedy Central, but a skit from Season #2.
I'd run it all down for you, but that would take away the fun of actually watching it for yourself. So go pick up that Season #2. Anywho...back to the point. I was kicking it on MySpace just looking around, when I had a thought. What are people really on the Internet for? Is it just for kicks? Is it to find lust? So I say...keep it real. If you got a little personal page on one of these websites like MySpace, Facebook, Blackplanet (do people still use that) or whatever site is your guilty pleasure for killing time at work keep it real. If you just on one of these sites to pass time while you pretend to be work say so. If you're trying to find a cuddle buddy say so. I've always been told honesty is the best policy.

You're absolutely right about that... I often wonder if people really join Facebook or Myspace to find a serious relationship or just to pass time chatting with people at work without running up their cell phone bills. Here's to keepin it real and hoping that it doesn't go wrong....

and when i say a million times on my site i don't want to meet strangers, i'm just tryna reconnect w/folk i ALREADY KNOW and that i'm in a relationship, back off strangers. including the 25+ men, the ones who think i seem nice, and perhaps most strangely, the 14 y.o.s in florida. b/c there aren't enough pediphiles there? you want to put yourself on the internet for anyone?? you don't know these people you little dumbass. of course i just pressed deny but that's why you keep seeing kids on tv gettin kidnapped and all sorts of other b.s. based on myspace b/c they have free reign to do whatever when they're too stupid to know they're stupid. my bad. you got me on a soapbox son.
and how AWFUL are the "lost episodes?" i saw 2 skits and was like nope. kick rocks comedy central. i LOVE when keepin it real goes wrong. GRANNY DON'T! LMAO!!!

People just have a lot more courage when they are sitting in front of a computer monitor. Why not hit on every single woman you can? What do you lose? NOTHING. Most people prefer to waste time while they are at work anyways. I guess I assumed no one was seriously trying to start a real relationship. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe I shouldnt laugh at people who send messages on myspace and facebook. Does laughing at them make me a mean person?
