It's Just Hair
I understand I may be acting like a stereotypical male, but oh well. I was at the crib watching "America's Next Top Model" (ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies) and it was the show where they were giving these 48 pound broads their makeovers. Now prior to getting the makeovers, the girls were all gung ho about getting these changes.
"I don't care what I have to do...Cut my hair, I don't care."
Fast forward to these chicks actually getting their hair cut. Nothing but tears and crying. You would think they just found out they gained 10 pounds in two weeks. I'm talking Boo-Hoo City. Which lead me to scream all alone in my apartment...
"IT'S JUST HAIR BITCH SHIT!"
I've never had hair past the cartilage at the top of my ear, but I'd like to think if I was gonna get it cut, I wouldn't pitch a bitch like that. So to the female subscribers I ask this...Was all that really called for or am I just a cold-hearted bastard?

I saw fuck them anorexic bitches in general.
How about Tyra try to chop off one of their fingers or some shit!?!?

I'm cracking up at this post because I think the same thing when I see the makeover episodes. I agree, it is JUST hair, BUT (don't act like you didn't know it was coming!) some females see their hair as a necessary accessory. Hair sometimes makes or breaks a female. Ever seen an unattractive bald-headed female??? I'm sure if she had hair she would have been more attractive. lol..that was mean of me to say, but I hope you get my point. Hair enhances a woman's beauty and maybe thats the reason why some of those girls were trippin.

Please. As long as you can buy a pack of 1B/30 at House of Hair by Ming Na, I say shave that shit. Not now, but right now.

women have a huge attachment to their hair. partially b/c of how men react to it. now to me, it is just hair. but i also know i can rock a short cut. hair is such a personal choice and annoying. ugh. i could talk about this forever but i have my own hair issues i've talked about enough on my own blog. lmao @ v. NUT!! X is on 10. wow. NOT the ming na...

HOWEVER... and this just came to me as i was watching the cram session this morning. the DUDES throwing hissy fits on making the band over their hair?!?!? pure frutopia. you can't even pretend to be sexy when you are CRYING and talking about CALLING YOUR MOMMA over your hair. DONE!!

co-sign to Jam's comment about men responding to hair.
I'll never cut my hair shorter than my chin.
Not because of a man though.
Because I have a big ass head. lol

Cold blooded.
Um, I can feel where they are coming from. Do you not remember the frantic call I made to you last January after I cut my hair? I almost hyperventilated. I think it's because society connects beauty to things like weight and hair length, that when we step outside of those norms, we begin to feel like the world will ridicule us.
But I'm saying. If Tyra was making me over, I'd be like get the clippers. It's just hair. It'll grow back. Can't beat a free makeover from celebrity stylists with a bat.

New to your blog...LOVE IT!
I suppose these broads feel as if they are Sampson and they were losing something by cutting their hair. As long as they are selling it on every street in the beauty supply store, LET IT GO!
Viva la weave!
BTW ~ 48 pounds?!?! Hilarious! Maybe the hair added those extra pounds to make their weight appear "normal" if so, the secret is out. GO EAT A SANDWICH!
